FB: What is your ethnic background?

D: Well, I like to call myself a “mutt.“ My father is Arabian with East African, Somalian, and Ethiopian heritage. My mother is Turkish and Syrian. So, I’m a mixed bag. People often think I’m Puerto-Rican, but I’m not. I call myself a “global nomad.” I grew up and went to school in Virginia, and I now live in Maryland. I lived in Europe for a while, too. I try to get out to LA as much as I can.

FB: Do you have any hobbies?

D: Yes, I’m an IFBB Professional Physique Competitor. I just placed 5th at the Figure Olympia in October. I’ve been competing since 1999, and I have plans to compete at the Arnold Classic in February 2004. I’m happy to have a small break now from intense training. I trained for almost an entire year for the 2003 Figure Olympia. I love competing. I love how my body looks in contest shape. Guys’ eyes just bulge out of their heads when they see me. I look make-believe. Like a cartoon character…Big boobs, and a tiny waist. I feel like a mini-superhero. It makes me feel good.

FB: What do you like best about being a Figure Competitor?

D: First, I like the way my body looks in contest shape. But, it’s the journey that matters, not how you place. I always want to improve, personally, from show to show. As long as I know that I‘ve done my best, I’m happy. I also like the outfits! I love the gorgeous swimsuits, with all the crystals and beads. I’m such a girl. That’s why I love modeling.

FB: How long have you been a fitness model?

D: Not very long. Just about five months. It was at the 2003 Arnold Classic in February that Rob Sims and I met each other. I was happy to meet up with him, because everyone in the Industry knows his name. So, I planned a photo shoot with him for June 2003. I had a layout in the first issue of Fitbeauties, and now I’ll have the Cover on the second issue. This is my first Cover. I’m very happy. I tell Rob, “You spoil us (fitness models) too much…every shot comes out so good…we get our hair and make-up done…you make it so we don’t want to shoot with anyone else.”

FB: What is your favorite thing about being a fitness model?

D: Definitely, the sex appeal. As an educated woman, I don’t have any problem with being viewed as a sex-symbol. Modeling brings out my beauty. I love to be naughty…Over the edge…Pushing the envelope. It’s such a turn-on to know that I’m other men’s fantasies. Also, I like to prove to the people who weren’t supportive of me growing up that I can be a model. I want to send my Cover shot back to all the people who said I couldn’t. I’m happy that there is such a market for Fitness Modeling. I don’t look “main stream.” Actually, I don’t find the mainstream look attractive. I like to be different.

FB: Does being a fitness model improve your sex life?

D: Yes! Being a model makes me feel sexual about myself. It motivates me to have more and better sex. It makes me want to try things out…New things. Like my partner and me looking at my pictures. It really gets the guys hot and bothered to see me in the pictures, and then I can wear the clothes for him…And take them off….

FB: What’s the most erotic sexual experience you’ve had?

D: Well, I’ve had so many. The most recent one was having sex in public. It was in a limo, with other people. I just got into what I was doing, and just went for it. I’m a huge exhibitionist. It turns me on that the other people watched.

FB: Have you ever kissed a girl?

D: Yes, and I still would. A while ago, I knew a gorgeous couple, and one night we all ended up at their house. Well, the husband suggested that his wife try “this and that” on me. Well it started with a soft, slow kiss, and then we really got into it. We completely forgot about him. Going with girls is a lot sexier. They’re softer, and of course they know what girls like.

FB: What advice would you give to a man to perform better in the bedroom?

D: Different women like different things. He should ask what his woman likes. Having open communication is important. A man should be very attentive to his woman. Couples shouldn’t be afraid to try new things. Like a new sexual position or using a sex toy. All this will increase the excitement.

FB: What is your favorite body part on a man?

D: I love really, really round butts. Bootieliscious butts. I also like nice muscular legs. I don’t like a guy to be too muscular. I like more of the Fitness Model look. Like the guys on the covers of Romance Novels. Also, a guy has to exhibit good behavior. He can’t be rude, judgmental, or have bad hygiene. Yuck!

FB: What is the best way for a man to get your attention?

D: To be straightforward…To come up to me, and be confident, and to properly introduce himself. Also, he should have good eye-contact. Sometimes men are intimidated by me. My physique and corporate position often make men feel inferior. I need a strong, self-confident guy. Sometimes in the bedroom, I’ll have my clothes off, and I have six-pack abs. It can be intimidating.

FB: What is your favorite body part, on yourself?

D: My bum. But, I have other favorite body parts too…One part I call “Natasha,” and my boobs are Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle- Dum…hahaha…

FB: Where do you see yourself in five years?

D: You know. I don’t like to make plans. I like to go with the flow. I hope in five years that I still haven’t grown up. I still hope I’m a big kid. Of course I’ll be responsible, but I just don’t want to get “old.” I also hope to be at the top of both of my Competitive and Corporate Careers, and still be a sexual being. I want to model for as long as I can. All that would make me happy.

FB: Do you have any ending comments?

D: Yes. People who don’t know me, don’t judge me. I’m a very down to earth person. I do wear baggy sweaters, with a baseball cap and jeans. I’ve got a wacky sense of humor. I love playing jokes on people and doing silly things. I’m a bit of a mystery…
